Distribution of Holy Communion Schedule: Until Things Change Again

Beginning on Saturday, May 16, and lasting until changes are announced, we will have a Confession and Communion Schedule as follows:

Monday through Saturday:

  • 7:00 AM Church opens
  • 8:00 AM Communion (8 spaces already reserved)
  • 10:00 AM Communion (3 spaces reserved)
  • 12:00 Noon Confessions (except for Tuesdays)
  • 12:40 PM Communion (All 10 spaces already reserved)
  • 1:10 PM Communion (4 spaces reserved)
  • 6:00 PM (2 spaces reserved)
  • 6:30 PM (All 10 spaces already reserved on Fridays, 6 reserved on Saturdays, 2 on Thursdays, but open otherwise so far)
  • 7:00 PM Church closes

Sundays

  • 7:00 AM church opens
  • 7:15 -7:45 Confessions
  • 8:00 AM Communion (7 spaces already reserved)
  • 8:20 AM Communion (6 spaces reserved)
  • 8:40 AM Communion (8 spaces reserved)
  • 9:00 AM Communion (7 spaces reserved)
  • 9:20 AM Communion (Zero spaces reserved)
  • 9:40 AM Communion (9 spaces reserved)
  • 10:00 AM Communion (8 spaces reserved)
  • 10:20 AM Communion (All 10 spaces reserved)
  • 10:30 AM Confessions
  • 11:00 AM Communion (All 10 spaces reserved)
  • 11:20 AM Communion (All 10 spaces reserved)
  • 7:00 PM Church closes

If it turns out that we need more communion times later, and less early ones, the schedule can be adjusted accordingly. For now, however, we will see how this works. Let me know your needs if this cannot work for your family.

Special notes: Nobody should come to the church who is ill or has been exposed to the Covid-19 virus within the past 2 weeks. Please respect this, even if you feel just fine.

On Sundays, it will not be so pleasant in some ways because we will have to have only ten people in the church at a time. When the next group starts to enter, the previous group needs to leave. If your health allows, please enter by the side door we always use, near the St. Joseph statue, but exit by the other side door, beside the statue of Mary. This will keep people from getting crowded together on the sidewalk. Again, this is only on Sundays.

Please observe the 6 feet distancing rule. The floor has been marked with blue tape for that purpose.
