The last two years, the Blessed Sacrament was exposed after the Noon Mass until 6pm as a symbolic way to have the 40 hours devotion which used to be celebrated in churches before the beginning of Lent in expiation for the sins of irreverence to the Blessed Sacrament as well as the sins committed during the Carnival. This year, we will being the exposition shortly after the 7am Mass until Midnight. At Midnight, a Mass will be offered. The Noon Mass will be offered at the altar of Our Lady while the Blessed Sacrament is exposed at the main altar. We need volunteers to spend one hour with the Lord from 8am to Midnight -- at least one volunteer for each hour during the daytime and at least two from 6pm to Midnight. There is a sign-up sheet in the vestibule.
